In partnership with the Disability Organizing (DO) Network, the Disability Visibility Project\u00ae will host a Twitter chat on voting rights and accessibility for Californians with disabilities. <\/span><\/p>\n

Everyone is welcome to participate, but please know the conversation will be focused on voting and the California disability community. Please note this #DOnetwork chat is non-partisan meaning we will not be asking questions about specific candidates or political parties. The California Foundation for Independent Living Center (<\/strong><\/span>CFILC<\/a>) <\/strong>facilitates the Disability Organizing (DO) Network, a statewide disability advocacy network of 28 Independent Living Centers and the communities they serve. In each center there is a full time staff person devoted to increasing civic participation through community organizing, education and advocacy around issues that affect the Disability Communities.<\/span><\/p>\n

At the time of the chat, click on the \u2018Latest\u2019 tab for the hashtag #DOnetwork. This will show you the questions and everyone\u2019s responses in real time.<\/span><\/p>\n
