We are thrilled to have writer\/activist <a href=\"https:\/\/leavingevidence.wordpress.com\/\">Mia Mingus<\/a>\u00a0as our guest host who will join this conversation on how the disability community can be in solidarity with other movements and what we love about the communities we are a part of.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We will reference a recent talk Mia Mingus gave at the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.disabilityintersectionalitysummit.com\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">2018 Disability and Intersectionality Summit<\/span><\/a>\u00a0titled,<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/leavingevidence.wordpress.com\/2018\/11\/03\/disability-justice-is-simply-another-term-for-love\/\" rel=\"bookmark\">Disability Justice is Simply Another Term for\u00a0Love<\/a><\/p>\n<h4><b>About<\/b><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The <strong>California Foundation for Independent Living Center<\/strong> (<\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/cfilc.org\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">CFILC<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">)<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">facilitates the <\/span><b>Disability Organizing (DO) Network<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, a statewide disability advocacy network of 28 Independent Living Centers and the communities they serve.
