The Disability & Intersectionality Summit<\/a> and the Disability Visibility Project<\/a> invite you to a series of three free online conversations about the life and work of Fannie Lou Hamer<\/a>, a civil rights activist who fought for the right to vote. The moderators and panelists in these events will discuss the new book by Dr. Keisha N. Blain<\/a>, Until I Am Free: Fannie Lou Hamer’s Enduring Message to America<\/em><\/a>, available now from Beacon Books.<\/p>\n

You do not need to read the book to attend the events! There will be a giveaway of Dr. Blain’s book for 10 registered attendee at each event. ASL interpretation and CART provided.<\/p>\n
